Billie Starkz: Tom DeLonge Of Blink-182 Reached Out To Me About Pushing To Use 'Aliens Exist'

Billie Starkz says her pitches haven't gone unheard.

Billie Starkz has repeatedly said that she wants to use Blink-182's '"Aliens Exist" for her entrance at an ROH show. She previously said she wanted to use the song for her match at ROH Final Battle 2023, where she unsuccessfully challenged Athena for the ROH Women's World Championship. Starkz has also stated that she has pitched using the song for her entrance. At ROH Final Battle, Starkz will challenge Athena for the title again, and they are set to co-main event the Hammerstein Ballroom.

Speaking with Fightful's Sean Ross Sapp, Billie Starkz was asked about main eventing in the Hammerstein Ballroom.

"I was like, ‘This building has been around longer than I have. I can’t wait to perform. I don’t care if I’m first match or last match, as long I get to have a great match.’ Hammerstein was the perfect location for this. It’s going to be crazy with the crowd there. Hammerstein was the perfect location for our match just because of how much history we have going into this and how much historical value for ROH Hammerstein truly has. It’s truly a wrestling venue," Starkz said.

Starkz then commented on her pitches to use "Aliens Exist" for her entrance. She noted that she has told Tony Khan that she wanted to use the song. Starkz stated that she would continue to push for it, and she would not know if she would get to use it until she heard the song in the arena.

"I’ve said to Tony, to his face, I’ve said it during media conferences, and I will continue to boast about it until I get it. I don’t know if it’s happening. I truly don’t think I would know until I showed up to the building and heard it playing throughout the arena," Starkz said.

When asked whether anyone from Blink-182 had taken notice, Starkz said that Tom DeLonge, the lead singer, reached out to her on Twitter/X and told her to keep pushing for it, as they would see what they could make happen. However, she stated that this was a year ago, so fans should not get their hopes up.

"Yes. The lead singer [Tom DeLonge] actually reached out to me on Twitter and was like, ‘Keep pushing for it. We’ll see what we can make happen.’ This was over a year ago though, so don’t get your hopes up," Starkz said.
