Cody Rhodes is going to WrestleMania.
Cody Rhodes won the 2023 men's Royal Rumble, last eliminating Gunther in the bout. Rhodes, competing in his first match since WWE Hell in a Cell where he wrestled Seth Rollins with a torn pectoral muscle, entered the Royal Rumble at number 30. Gunther, the reigning WWE Intercontinental Champion, entered the Royal Rumble at number one.
After a lengthy battle between Rhodes and Gunther, Cody was finally able to eliminate Gunther with the Cross Rhodes followed by a clothesline over the top.
By winning the men's Royal Rumble, Cody Rhodes will challenge the Undisputed WWE Universal Champion at WrestleMania 39.

The final four were Rhodes, Logan Paul, Seth Rollins, and Gunther. Paul stayed on the outside for an extended period of time after a midair collision with Ricochet. He slid back in to toss Rollins over the top to a chorus of boos.
Rhodes would eliminate Paul after hitting him with the Cross Rhodes.
Gunther set the record for the most time lasted in a traditional Royal Rumble. He spent over 71 minutes in the match.
