Cody Rhodes makes his big announcement.
'The American Nightmare' kicked off the second hour of Monday Night Raw on November 27. First, Rhodes thanked Sami Zayn, Randy Orton, Seth Rollins, Jey Uso for their contributions in the WarGames match against The Judgment Day at Survivor Series.
Rhodes then briefly chatted about CM Punk, welcoming him back to the company.
After quickly changing the subject, Rhodes declared himself as the first entrant in the 2024 Royal Rumble match.

Rhodes was then interrupted by Shinsuke Nakamura, who first appeared in video promo form. Moments later, Nakamura then appeared in the ring behind Rhodes and spit mist in his face.

Rhodes won the 2023 Royal Rumble match before going on to lose to Roman Reigns in the main event of WrestleMania 39.
