Cope: I Look At Injuries As Challenges Instead Of This Demoralizing Thing

Cope talks about his recent leg injury and how he's feeling ahead of AEW Grand Slam.

At AEW Double Or Nothing 2024, Cope would dive from the top of a steel cage, suffering a serious leg injury in the process that would keep him out of action until the back end of 2024.

While speaking to Wrestle Radio Australia in a new interview, Cope spoke about the injury, answering if the injury is harder to recover from now vs 10 years ago.

"Not really. No. I look at injuries as challenges. You know, I don't... I try to reframe them as opposed to like, this kind of demoralizing thing. It's like, right, okay. One more to come back from. One more to prove I can work through these things. You know, I take some pride in that. I don't want to get injured, but it's part of what we do. Find me a wrestler who's never been injured. It's impossible. It's part of it."

Cope, along with Jay White, is set to face off with The Death Riders at AEW Grand Slam on February 15th.
