Corey Graves says joining the WWE SmackDown commentary team is an honor, and Triple H responds.
On the February 2 episode of WWE SmackDown, Corey Graves and Wade Barrett were officially named as the new SmackDown commentary team. This came after Michael Cole returned exclusively to Raw, and Pat McAfee joined him on the January 29 episode.
Corey Graves took to social media after the February 2 episode of WWE SmackDown and reflected on his first night in his new role. He wrote that he had not been that nervous in years, and he was facing a new mountain and a new challenge. Graves stated that there would be bumps in the road, and he had plenty of room for improvement. He also said that it was an honor, and he would do his best to do right by WWE and the fans.
I haven’t been that nervous in years.

A new role. A new mountain. A new challenge.
There will be bumps in the road. There is plenty of room for improvement.
But, as a lifelong fan, it is an honor.
I will do my best to do right by you.#SmackDown
WWE Chief Content Officer Triple H replied to Graves' post by saying that he and Wade Barrett were awesome. He congratulated Graves and ended his message by saying that Graves had conquered the mountain.
You and @StuBennett were both awesome… congrats! Mountain conquered. #SmackDown https://t.co/J78nFy1EFY
