JBL announced last Friday that he will be stepping away from his SmackDown duties. Reports surfaced this morning that he made this decision almost a year ago, as he wanted to focus more on his work with at risk youth.

This decision reunites Graves with Tom Phillips and Byron Saxton, two foils who have felt the wrath of "The Savior of Misbehavior" in the past. Graves' antagonistic interplay with Phillips was a highlight of the golden age of NXT, and his insults lobbed at Saxton are always good for a laugh. We shall see if they can manage to make a Jinder Mahal title run more entertaining.

According to WWE.com, Graves will now be the color commentator for both SmackDown and RAW.
