Dakota Kai and IYO SKY want revenge.
On the December 16 episode of WWE Raw, Pure Fusion Collective (Sonya Deville, Zoey Stark, and Shayna Baszler) attacked Kairi Sane backstage, leaving her status for her WWE Women's Intercontinental Championship Tournament Match unclear.
In a digital exclusive, Dakota Kai and IYO SKY were asked for an update on Sane's status. Kai said that they did not have an update on Sane, and they did not know anything about the tournament. She stated that Pure Fusion Collective had crossed the line too many times, and they would never hold up to what Damage CTRL had. Kai said that as soon as Sane was "good," they were putting Pure Fusion Collective on the shelf. SKY chimed in by saying that Pure Fusion Collective made a big mistake.

Kairi Sane was set to face Natalya and Alba Fyre in a first-round match in the WWE Women's Intercontinental Championship Tournament.
