Damage CTRL is back.
On the July 29 episode of WWE Raw, Zoey Stark, Shayna Baszler, and Sonya Deville defeated Lyra Valkyria, Katana Chance, and Kayden Carter. After the match, Damage CTRL (Dakota Kai, Kairi Sane, and IYO SKY) confronted Stark, Baszler, and Deville. They brawled with the trio, and Damage CTRL stood tall.

In a backstage interview, Dakota Kai challenged Sonya Deville to face her on the August 5th episode of WWE Raw.
Damage CTRL had been absent since the July 8 episode of WWE Raw. There, they beat Chance, Carter, and Valkyria. Deville, Baszler, and Stark then attacked them. Damage CTRL returned to action at WWE's tour in Japan before they made their return to television on July 29. The group is not at full strength, as Asuka has been out of action with an injury since WWE Backlash on May 4. She provided an update in June after she underwent knee surgery.
