Dana White and UFC are set to run The Sphere in Las Vegas on September 14 with UFC 306.
The Sphere is a state of the art entertainment area with 580,000 sq ft of LED displays that allows for more immersive experience. U2, Phish and Dead & Company have played at the venue, and the NHL Draft was held at The Sphere, but UFC will be the first live sport to run inside the arena.
Speaking to Johnny Resendiz, UFC President Dana White was asked about WWE experimenting with different camera angles and production shots, and if UFC might do the same.
"Don't you find that weird that we got involved in WWE not too long ago and now they're experimenting with that? [Laughs]. Our production team has a lot of influence over what's going on," he claimed.
Much of WWE's production changes occurred at the start of 2024, after longtime director and producer Kevin Dunn stepped away and Lee Fitting, formerly of ESPN, was named the new Head of Media and production.
