He fought for his dreams and he fought Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens.
In his first match in three years, Daniel Bryan was victorious when he submitted Sami Zayn with his Yes Lock. Bryan and Shane McMahon were taking on Zayn and Kevin Owens in a tag team match which put Zayn's and Owens' careers on the line. The match was created after Zayn and Owen attacked both McMahon and Bryan and were fired by Bryan.
The following is a excerpt from the Fightful Wrestling live coverage of WrestleMania 34 provided by David Tees.
Bryan goes to the top rope and he nails Zayn with a missile drop kick, Owens gets in the ring and Bryan deposits him in a corner. Bryan then attacks both opponents with a bunch of running drop kicks, Bryan gets Zayn on the top rope before taking him down with a hurricarana. Owens distracts Bryan and that allows Zayn to nail him with a Helluva Kick for a near fall, Owens tags in and he nails McMahon with a super kick to keep him on the arena floor. Owens then hits Bryan with a pop up power bomb for a near fall, Zayn tags in and McMahon sends a charging Owens to the arena floor. McMahon then takes out Owens with a dive from the ring apron, Zayn attacks a downed Bryan with some strikes. Bryan fight back by nailing Zayn with strikes of his own, Bryan then hits a downed Zayn with the Yes Kicks.
Bryan nails Zayn with a running knee strike before applying the Yes Lock and a tap out follows.
Winners: Shane McMahon & Daniel Bryan
Owens' and Zayn's Smackdown contracts were the ones terminated by Bryan and a Superstar Shakeup or draft is planned for the near future as the two brands move to co-branded pay-per-views.
