Daniel Bryan is getting all kinds of first time WWE matches.
Since getting back to in-ring competition, Daniel Bryan has faced a few people for the first time in a WWE ring including Big Cass, AJ Styles, and Jeff Hardy. On Monday, Smackdown General Manager Paige created another match which is a first time match up for Bryan against Shelton Benjamin.
The only time Benjamin and Bryan have been in a ring together in a singles match was at Northeast Wrestling in 2010 after Bryan had been fired from WWE for choking Justin Roberts with his tie and Benjamin had been released after several years with the company. Benjamin returned to WWE while Daniel Bryan was still not medically cleared.
