Jay White and Darby Allin come face-to-face.
Fresh off of Sting's retirement match at AEW Revolution, Darby Allin appeared on AEW Dynamite and touched on a variety of topics. Allin first said that he feels like Sting's retirement match lived up to the hype before also noting that he feels beat up and tired. Allin then confirmed that he'll be flying out to climb Mount Everest on March 27 and that there is no guarantee that he'll make it back alive.
Allin then addressed the AEW World Tag Team Championships and said that he won't keep the belts because nobody can replace Sting.
Jay White came out next, stating that he wants to talk to Allin face-to-face. White then began to say kind things about Allin and his performance before noting that he actually doesn't even care, as Allin is nothing without Sting.
Things came to a head when Allin fired back, as he stated that doesn't believe the hype with White, citing that he hasn't done anything since arriving in All Elite Wrestling.
Allin then put Sting's bat to White's neck, which scared off 'Switchblade' and The Gunns.
Darby Allin speaks from heart.
