AEW's Darby Allin has drawn many comparisons to WWE's Jeff Hardy, but it's a comparison that Allin doesn't mind.
The current TNT Champion recently spoke with Inside The Ropes and was asked about the Hardy comparisons as both are daredevils in the ring, so to speak, Allin said he doesn't mind it. Allin added that he never tried to make those comparisons and that there is only one Darby Allin and one Jeff Hardy.
"I feel fine about it. You know, I never searched to get compared to Jeff Hardy, like I never care to compare – but if it’s there, it’s there. But to me, there’s always one Darby Allin and one Jeff Hardy," Allin said.
Allin admitted that if the opportunity did come to have a match with Hardy, or even his brother Matt Hardy (who is also signed to AEW), he would be open to it.
"Yeah, absolutely. I would love to step in the ring with someone who is as creative and driven as artistically as he is, I feel like he would always be able to go. Even with Matt, I want to step in the ring with him and just create some art," Allin said.
