The first match for AEW Rampage: Grand Slam has been confirmed.
During the September 15 episode of AEW Rampage, AEW announced that AEW Rampage: grand Slam would air as a two-hour special on September 22. The company confirmed that Darby Allin and Sting will face Christian Cage and TNT Champion Luchasaurus at the show. The match was initially announced for the September 20 edition of AEW Dynamite, but it has been moved to Rampage. No reason was given for the change.
Allin and Sting have been locked in a heated feud with Cage and Luchasaurus in recent weeks. Luchasaurus beat Allin to retain the title at AEW All Out.
