Dark Order: Competing At AEW All In Was On Very Short Notice, But It Was A Big Moment

The Dark Order got their Wembley moment.

The Dark Order has been in AEW since 2019, and Evil Uno has been a member from the start. Alex Reynolds and John Silver joined the stable that December. Since then, the group has seen plenty of ups and downs.

Wendy Choo: I'm Coming To TNA Whether I'm Welcomed Or Not. I Have More Friends There Than You Know

They were not part of AEW All In 2023, but they had a match at AEW All In 2024. Silver and Reynolds, accompanied by Uno, teamed up with Jay Lethal, Satnam Singh, Anthony Ogogo, Ariya Daivari, and Private Party (Isiah Kassidy and Marq Quen), and they lost to Rocky Romero, Kip Sabian, Kyle Fletcher, Tommy Billington, Lio Rush, Action Andretti, and Top Flight (Dante and Darius Martin).

On the newest edition of Being The Dark Order, the group discussed their road to Wembley. First, Alex Reynolds thanked fans for their support, and he recalled missing AEW All In in 2023. He also detailed how he was conflicted about missing his son's birthday party to be at AEW All In 2024, but his family moved the party so he could make it.

“I want to thank everybody for hashtagging “Get Dark Order to Wembley” because we got Dark Order to Wembley. Super excited. I remember sitting at home watching All In last year, and being like, ‘There’s no fucking way I’m watching this from home again next year,’ and then they announced the date, All In 2024, August 25th. I was like, ‘Fuck, that’s my son’s third birthday.’ So for the last couple weeks, it’s been, ‘Maybe you guys are going, maybe not. Maybe you are.’ It’s been kind of emotionally taxing because it’s like, man, I really want to go, but I don’t want to miss my son’s birthday. I’d be okay if I don’t go. But when I got the call, instead of it being total excitement, it was kind of a pit in my stomach, like shit, I’m missing his third birthday, and that really made me feel like shit. We had his birthday party planned for Sunday, so after talking and planning with my wife, we realized that we’re gonna have his party today, Saturday, so I can be home and have him open presents and celebrate for a little bit, and hop on a plane at 8 p.m., land in London at 8 a.m., get dressed, head to Wembley, and then leave at 7:30 on Monday. So I’m in London for less than 24 hours, but even if I was in London for ten hours, being able to be at my son’s birthday party means the world to me, and it’s allowed me to get more excited about it Sunday and being at Wembley. So super proud of the three of us, me, Uno, John. Very thankful for you guys for supporting us," Reynolds said.

Later in the video, Reynolds, Silver, and Uno were shown at Wembley Stadium ahead of the show. The trio commented on making it to the show, and Uno said that it was a big moment.

Evil Uno: It happened. We made it. Hey, we’re at All In London. The hashtag worked.

John Silver: The 22 of you that did it.

EU: Big day for us. Very excited to be walking out at Wembley. A big moment for us, for sure.

After their tag team match, Reynolds, Silver, and Uno shared their thoughts backstage. Uno stated that they had been thinking about their Wembley moment for a long time, and they were not sure that they would get it in 2024.

EU: Big Wembley moment for us. We’ve actually been thinking about this for a long time. We missed out on last year’s Wembley, and it never sat right with us, and we weren’t sure if we were gonna get our moment this year, if we’re being honest.

AR: A lot of turns, a lot of turns along the way, bumps in the road.

JS: This is the first time England has seen me and Alex wrestle. It just happened to be in front of about 50,000 people.

EU: Both of you have only been in the country for about, well, [Alex] has been here for less than 12 hours, and [John] is less than 24 hours. It was on very short notice. We weren’t sure if we were going to be able to make it this time, but we did.

AR: It was worth it. A very cool moment that we’ll all remember.

Uno also highlighted the stadium atmosphere and said he wouldn’t forget it. The trio also thanked the fans for their support. He then made it clear that they had their sights set on the trios titles.

During the video, Evil Uno provided an update on Being The Dark Order. More information is available here.
