Dave Bautista wants to carve his own path in Hollywood.
Recently, John Cena told Complex that he thinks making a movie with Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson would be entertaining and that he'd "be in" if the opportunity ever presented itself. A fan tagged Bautista on Twitter and suggested that he should join them. The Guardians of the Galaxy star, however, isn't exactly a fan of that idea, saying, "Nah I'm good!!"

Bautista would add further context to his reply, sending another tweet that stated how it's nothing personal, but he just doesn't want to be lumped into the same category as Cena and Johnson. He also provided a collage showcasing the various characters he has played over the past few years.
I figured a visual reference might help. I’d just prefer not to be lumped in. Nothing personal. ---- #DreamChaser https://t.co/JFHAaw053F pic.twitter.com/djKZBylIuT

This wasn't the first time that Bautista shot down the idea of making a movie with Cena, either.

This summer, John Cena can be seen in F9: The Fast Saga and The Suicide Squad. Johnson, on the other hand, will star opposite Emily Blunt in Disney's Jungle Cruise.
In a recent interview with JoBlo, Bautista talked about wanting to be a different type of actor than The Rock. You can find his comments here.
Bautista has worked with numerous talented directors such as Denis Villeneuve, Sam Mendes, Zack Snyder, and James Gunn. Next, he'll have a chance to continue learning and honing his craft under Rian Johnson as a part of the Knives Out sequel.
Fans can watch Bautista on the big screen again this October as Glossu 'Beast' Rabban in Dune.
