David Benoit Wants To Join AEW, Talks Messing Around In The Ring With "A Couple Of Guys" From AEW

Chris Benoit’s son David wants to go to All Elite Wrestling (AEW).

The 26-year-old Benoit appeared on the Pro and Bro Wrestling Podcast hosted by Fred Rosser (formerly known as Darren Young) and discussed his current pro wrestling career. While not revealing much, David said he has been in the ring “with a couple of guys from AEW” and said he has a close relationship with AEW World Champion Chris Jericho.

"I'm just messing around in the ring right now with a couple of guys from AEW. There's some good talent there. [I'm close with] Chris Jericho," Benoit said.

David admitted that he is a fan of the AEW product, even attending the “Double or Nothing” show back in May. David would go on to say that he would love to wrestle in AEW in the future.

“I love AEW. That’s a good time, good, quality product, some good wrestling. I went to their first show, ‘Double or Nothing...’ I want to go to AEW one-hundred percent. I love AEW, I love what they do for the boys, take care of them,” Benoit said.
