David Finlay wins gold.
David Finlay won the IWGP Global Championship at NJPW Wrestle Kingdom, defeating Jon Moxley and Will Ospreay in a three-way bout.
The finish saw Ospreay wipe out Moxley with a hidden blade, and Finlay catching Ospreay with Into Oblivion followed by a Super Into Oblivion.
As agreed to during the press conference, Moxley and Ospreay worked together to start the match in hoping to eliminate Finlay. Finlay survived the first five minutes and Moxley and Ospreay eventually started going after each other.
The three-way bout saw tables and chairs get involved, along with interference by Bullet Club WAR DOGS (Alex Coughlin & Gabe Kidd).

After the bout, Finlay got in the face of Nic Nemeth (Dolph Ziggler), who was sitting ringside, and the two began to brawl.

The IWGP Global Championship was established after Finlay destroyed the IWGP United States/United Kingdom Championships at NJPW Power Struggle.
