David Marquez clears up the rumors about Harley Race and World League Wrestling issues a statement.
Earlier today, rumors traveled through social media that former 7-time NWA World Heavyweight Champion Harley Race was diagnosed with terminal lung cancer. The Twitter user who shared that information noted that Ric Flair revealed the news about Harley Race's health at the 'Legends Of The Ring' event in Atlantic City. 'Championship Wrestling From Hollywood' President and on-screen interviewer David Marquez took to Twitter and noted that he has spoken with the family of Harley Race and Race has been diagnosed with lung cancer but it is not terminal. Marquez added that Harley is being treated by his doctors and is still involved with 'World League Wrestling' which is the promotion that he launched in 1999.

World League Wrestling also issued a statement about Harley Race and asked that fans respect the boundaries of his private and public matters.

On Monday morning, Ric Flair took to Twitter to issue a comment on his misinformation.

World League Wrestling's next event takes place on March 9th and appearing on the show will be Ryback, NWA Worlds Heavyweight Champion Nick Aldis and NXT Champion Tommaso Ciampa. Ciampa has also been announced for Chaotic Wrestling's 'Cold Fury 18th' show on March 15th.
