Deonna Purrazzo: I'm A Big Josh Alexander Fan, I'm Excited To See Him Return To The Ring

Deonna Purrazzo is excited to see Josh Alexander return to the ring.

The 'Walking Weapon' has been out of action for nearly six months at this point, as he suffered a Triceps tear back in March.

Before suffering the injury, Alexander was the reigning IMPACT World Champion and was in the midst of the longest single reign in the championship's history.

Alexander is set to return to action at the upcoming IMPACT x NJPW Multiverse United 2 show, where he will team with PCO, Tama Tonga, Tanga Loa, El Phantasmo, and The DKC to face the Bullet Club (David Finlay, KENTA, Alex Coughlin, Clark Connors, Ace Austin, and Chris Bey).

Only seven days later, IMPACT Wrestling will return to Canada for the Emergence event, where Alexander will compete in a six man tag team match.

On the latest episode of the Sunday Night's Main Event podcast, Deonna Purrazzo was asked to name what she's most excited to see at the Emergence event.

“Of course I’m going to say myself vs. Trinity for the Knockouts World Championship, but I’m really excited to see Josh Alexander return to in-ring competition. He’s [also] returning to in-ring competition in Canada, how could you not be excited about that? I’m a big Josh Alexander fan, I’m an even bigger Jet Alexander fan.”

Elsewhere in the interview, Purrazzo said that she thinks Giselle Shaw and KiLynn King will be future IMPACT Knockouts World Champions. Fans can learn more here.
