The first match announcement for AEW Revolution has been made.
On February 2, CM Punk got his long-awaited match against MJF, only to be cheated out of a victory thanks to Wardlow handing MJF his Dynamite Diamond Ring. After two weeks of hearing MJF boast about it, Punk demanded a rematch, which he was told would only be granted if he and a partner could defeat FTR. Later that night, he and Jon Moxley did just that.
During the February 16 edition of Dynamite, Punk laid out the time, place, and stipulation for his second round with MJF. After saying that he wants to teach MJF a lesson he doesn't forget, Punk thought back on the toughest matches of his career. He added that MJF tethers himself to being Piper in Portland, well, Punk is going to tether himself to MJF in a Dog Collar Match at Revolution on March 6.
This is the second match of its kind in AEW history, the first was between Cody Rhodes and Mr. Brodie Lee.
