On the second night of NXT Halloween Havoc on October 31, "Dirty" Dominik Mysterio defended the NXT North American Championship against Nathan Frazer. WWE Women's World Champion Rhea Ripley accompanied Dominik to the ring, and they got in the holiday spirit by dressing up in costumes.
Dominik dressed up as a prisoner, while Ripley was in costume as a police officer. In doing so, they seemingly refrenced Dominik's brief stint in jail that turned him into hardened man he is today.

Thanks to some help from Ripley, Mysterio emerged victorious when he pinned Frazer with a frog splash. However, Wes Lee crashed his celebration by attacking him after the bell. As a result, it seems like the former champion has his sights set on the gold.
