"Dirty" Dominik Mysterio dreams of making up with his father, but he says it's no longer possible.
Dominik memorably turned on his father, Rey Mysterio, at WWE Clash at the Castle 2022. They feuded for several months, and Rey finally beat his son at WrestleMania 39 after he initially refused to face him.
During an appearance on Up NXT, Dominik answered questions from fans. One user wondered whether he would ever reconcile with his father. Dominik responded that he dreams about it, and it sometimes keeps him up at night. However, he noted that his father is no longer with us, and he gave a shoutout to Eddie Guerrero.
“Will you ever reconcile with your dad? I dream about that every night. Sometimes, it keeps me up, and I can’t sleep. But because he’s no longer with us, R.I.P. Eddie. I just do what I can at this point," Dominik said.
Dominik was at the center of the 2005 feud between Guerrero and Rey Mysterio, as the two battled over the paternity of Dominik. Rey defeated Eddie in a Ladder Match for the custody of Dominik at SummerSlam 2005.
