One woman has punched her ticket to the finals of the inaugural Owen Hart Foundation Women’s Tournament.
On the May 25 episode of AEW Dynamite, Toni Storm and Britt Baker faced off for a spot in the finals of the competition, which is set to wrap up this Sunday, May 29, at Double or Nothing. The other spot in the match will be filled by either Kris Statlander or Ruby Soho. Their semi-final bout is scheduled for this Friday on Rampage.
The match started with Baker sending Rebel and Jamie Hayter to the back, saying she didn't need their help. Baker controlled the early portion of the match, even busting up Storm's nose. Toni, however, would fight back and gain enough momentum for Hayter to come out and assist her friend. Baker would score the win after holding the ropes during her pin. As a result, the former AEW Women's World Champion will compete in the finals at Double or Nothing.
