QT Marshall Talks AEW Return, Discusses Wrestling His Students In Dark Matches

QT Marshall discusses his return to AEW.

In February, QT Marshall made his return to AEW and retained his role as the Vice President of Show and Creative Coordination for the company. This move came just months after Marshall announced he was leaving the promotion.

Now, Marshall has the best of both worlds, as he wrestles on the independent circuit while also fulfilling his backstage duties in AEW. Notably, Marshall made his televised return for the promotion at AEW Full Gear, losing to Big Boom! AJ.

While chatting with Fightful for a new interview, Marshall praised himself for being a jack of all trades.

"Jack of all trades, master of none. That's what I tell everybody. I think if I had to write down what I do, I wouldn't be able to do it, right? I just kind of do whatever needs to be done, and that's it. Makes the day go by a lot faster."

Marshall then recalled wrestling in some dark matches for AEW/ROH before making his official return to the ring for the company at Full Gear.

"Yeah. A couple. I think just my students, maybe. A couple of them were students and just to go out there and kind of have some fun and get the crowd all warmed up. Then we had one out in Salt Lake City, Manny Lemons. He had done a lot of advertising for us out in Salt Lake. I think he had sold close to a thousand tickets through his independent company and stuff like that. So, I'll do anything for the company."

Elsewhere in the interview, Marshall talked about teaming with RD Evans in ROH and working with him in AEW. Check out his full comments on the matter here.
