Dragon Lee To Defend ROH World Television Title On January 11

Dragon Lee's first ROH World Television title defense is taking place next month in Atlanta.

Ring of Honor made the announcement on its website, saying that Lee will defend his title at Saturday Night at Center Stage in Atlanta on January 11 against an opponent to be named later. Lee won the title back at the Final Battle pay-per-view when Lee defeated Shane Taylor.

Taylor's future with ROH is not set in stone but ROH did mention in the announcement that it is trying to negotiate with Taylor to have him compete at future ROH events.

From ROH:

Shane Taylor’s future in ROH is unclear following his loss of the ROH World Television Title to Dragon Lee at Final Battle. ROH officials are in negotiations with Shane Taylor Promotions to have him compete at upcoming ROH events.

In my opinion, Taylor far exceeded expectations in 2019 and had one of the best years of anyone in the company. I hope we haven’t seen the last of him in an ROH ring.

Lee, by the way, will make his first title defense in Atlanta against an opponent to be determined.

After Lee defeated Taylor, he would go on to join his brother RUSH as part of La Faccion Ingobernable, a new faction of Los Ingobernables of which RUSH is also a part of.
