Dragon Lee shares his thoughts on his upcoming schedule.
NXT star Dragon Lee faced NXT North American Champion Dominik Mysterio on the September 25 episode of WWE Raw. He then appeared in the crowd during the September 29 episode of WWE SmackDown, where Austin Theory shoved him. WWE later announced that Lee will face Austin Theory on the October 6 episode of SmackDown. Additionally, Lee will be the special referee for the NXT North American Championship match between Dominik Mysterio and Trick Williams at NXT No Mercy.
In a SmackDown Exclusive, Dragon Lee was asked about remaining impartial when he officiates the match between Mysterio and Trick Williams.
“Let me mention something first. You listen to people, you listen to crowd. [It was] exciting. Honestly, to be in the crowd and watch that match was awesome. About tomorrow, I’m going to be special ref. I have a lot of appreciation for Rey [Mysterio]. But tomorrow, I’m going to do my job. I’m gonna be special referee," Lee said.
Lee also briefly commented on his upcoming match against Austin Theory. He vowed to show him, and the world, who Dragon Lee is and represent who he is. Lee also stated that he is ready for the high-profile match.
“He tried to push me. Next week, I’m going to show the world, and I’m going to show him, who Dragon Lee is, and represent who I am. Next week, Austin, I am ready," Lee said.
