Challenge accepted.
Drew McIntyre is ready for Goldberg at the Royal Rumble. On Monday's WWE Raw, McIntyre officially accepted Goldberg's challenge to a WWE Title match at the Royal Rumble. Goldberg issued the challenge last Monday when he appeared at the end of WWE Raw Legends Night, saying McIntyre had disrespected the legends before shoving him down.
McIntyre popped up and went forehead to forehead with Goldberg after Raw had gone off the air.
In his promo on Raw, McIntyre said Goldberg put words in his mouth as he never disrespected legends and didn't initially want to accept the challenge because it was like Goldberg challenging himself while he was in his prime. McIntyre said he changed his mind when Goldberg put his hands on him.
McIntyre wasn't able to appear inside the ThunderDome as it was announced on Monday that he has tested positive for COVID-19. McIntyre provided an update on his condition on Raw, saying he is not experiencing symptoms and telling everyone to stay safe. You can find his full comments by clicking here.
