Drew McIntyre Asked About CM Punk, 'He's Certainly Controversial And Gets People Talking'

Drew McIntyre is asked about CM Punk.

The wrestling future of CM Punk is unknown after he was released by AEW on Saturday, September 2. Punk was released by AEW, with cause, after an incident at AEW All In where, according to Tony Khan, Punk endangered innocent people. Khan stated that he feared for his life in the incident.

It is unknown if Punk has a non-compete clause attached to his release, and Khan would not comment when asked.

Speaking to Sportskeeda, Drew McIntyre was asked about Punk potentially returning to WWE.

"I don't make those decisions. I watch what I say in interviews. He's certainly controversial and he gets people talking. I'll leave it at that," he said.

Punk has yet to comment on his release from WWE.
