On July 25, Drew McIntyre got the internet talking when he posted a photo with Jack Perry.
McIntyre is in the middle of a feud with CM Punk, and has taken any opportunity to troll him online, while Perry and Punk infamously got into an altercation at AEW All In 2023 that led to Punk being fired from the company.
Speaking on The Gorilla Position, McIntyre was asked how the photo came about.
"On the same flight. I was just right in front of him. I had a chat with him. Lovely lad. His girlfriend is really nice, flying to LA. Just said, 'Hey, we should do a picture. We're both wrestlers. I'll put it on the internet. Give you a little rub.' People reacted crazy. That internet," said McIntyre.
The tweet was eventually deleted by McIntyre, but nothing really dies on the internet.
