Drew McIntyre is targeting another major combat sports champion shortly after winning the WWE Championship.
In the main event of WrestleMania 36, McIntyre conquered Brock Lesnar, a former UFC Champion, to win the WWE title, his first world title. Instead of simply waiting for the next challenger to arrive, McIntyre told talkSPORT that when the chaos that has been caused by the coronavirus, he would love to face current heavyweight boxing champion Tyson Fury.
-- “I know Tyson Fury’s on the show... he was talking trash about me!”

Fury, who made his WWE debut at last year's Crown Jewel show by defeating current Universal Champion Braun Strowman, last fought in the boxing ring in February in a rematch against Deontay Wilder. Fury scored a TKO victory over Wilder to become the new WBC Heavyweight champion. Fury and Wilder were planning to have a third fight this summer, but that has since then pushed back due to the coronavirus outbreak.
