Another match has been added to WWE Day 1.
Last week on SmackDown, Happy Corbin and Madcap Moss stole Adam Pearce's desk after Drew McIntyre pierced and left his sword in it. The duo brought it to TV this week where Corbin gifted the sword to Madcap during Happy Talk. Unfortunately, neither of them was able to extract the weapon.
McIntyre then came out and pulled the sword from the desk with no difficulty. He then swung at Corbin and Moss but they rolled away just in time. Corbin and Moss were later found hiding backstage where Corbin revealed that Madcap would take on Drew at WWE Day 1 on January 1, 2022.
McIntyre and Corbin's issues go all the way back to Survivor Series when the two butted heads as members of Team SmackDown. Drew already has a victory over Corbin and Moss, defeating them in Tag Team action on November 26th.
