Drew McIntyre is set to clash with Seth Rollins at WWE Crown Jewel in a bout for the WWE World Heavyweight Champion.
It will mark the first time McIntyre will challenge for the WWE World Heavyweight Title and will be the first televised singles match between McIntyre and Rollins since WWE Money in the Bank 2020.
Speaking on the Mike Jones Show, McIntyre commented on the bout.
"I'm looking forward to getting that world title match, the first one since Roman Reigns and Bloodline screwed me out of it. Seth is one of my best opponents. We have great chemistry and we haven't had a big match, or any match, for a very long time. It's cool that it's going to be on such a big show," said McIntyre.
McIntyre challenged Roman Reigns for the Undisputed WWE Universal Title at WWE Clash at the Castle 2022. McIntyre lost after interference by Solo Sikoa.
