Positive wrestling news is just the best.
Since returning to the WWE in 2017, Drew McIntyre has been a very positive community figure that has represented the company in a great light. Amongst doing charity work, McIntyre has done dozens of interviews with multiple media outlets and has made himself a media-favorite.
McIntyre continued to expand his track record this past Thursday when he came to Nashville, the home of this year's SummerSlam, to pay a visit to a group of Special Olympics athletes. The athletes, who are a part of Metro Parks DisABILITIES Program, got to lift weights with McIntyre. They were also all gifted a WWE Championship belt.

When speaking with the media, McIntyre reflected on participating in multiple Special Olympics events across the country.
"I've loved every second of everything we've done throughout the pandemic. I put together a school of strength program where the athletes could work out at home and inevitably, we've been able to get back together in person. The athletes all surprised me by making me a champion ambassador. That title right there is up with my WWE championships, neck and neck."
WWE is a sponsor of the Special Olympics Games. Nashville is set to host SummerSlam this year, as the event will take place at Nissan Stadium on July 30th, 2022.
