Oh, testify: The Dudley Boyz have signed legends deals with WWE.
Bubba Ray and D-Von Dudley are their generation’s most decorated tag team. Having won gold in WWE, ECW, TNA, and more, The Dudley Boyz are bona fide legends.
According to a recent write-up from Justin Barrasso of Sports Illustrated, the 2018 WWE Hall of Famers have signed legends agreements with WWE.
Both Bubba, also known as Bully Ray, and D-Von stated during the Sports Illustrated interview that The Dudleyz are the most remarkable tag team of their era.
“Before us, there were a lot of great teams, too,” said D-Von. “There was the Rock ‘N’ Roll Express, Terry’ Bam Bam’ Gordy and ‘Dr. Death’ Steve Williams, the Midnight Express, the Hart Foundation, the British Bulldogs, and the Road Warriors, who we idolized. That was all a different era. During the ‘Attitude Era,’ we became, hands down, the greatest tag team of our era.”
Bubba added, “As long as there is breath in our lungs, we are still the greatest tag team on the planet today. No one else comes close.”
Bully Ray has been a regular fixture on IMPACT Wrestling television and a host of Busted Open Radio on Sirius XM. D-Von Dudley is a former producer for WWE. He, unfortunately, suffered a stroke in 2019 but is now looking forward to returning to the squared circle at IMPACT 1000.
