Dustin Rhodes comments on Toni Storm's current direction.
Toni Storm is in her own spotlight with the help of RJ City and Luther as her butler. Storm stars in short films and looks for adoration at every turn as she is on the road to the AEW Women's Championship.
Some fans have noticed similarities between Storm's current character and Goldust, who current AEW wrestler Dustin Rhodes portrayed. Dustin says he's picked up on the parallels.
"I told her last week, 'You remind me so much of myself.' Now they've put Luther with her, as her butler, it's so cool. It's like myself and Marlena, the director and the Goldust character. She does it so well and I'm glad that lightning has struck and she's riding it for all it's worth. The more outlandish things she does on her entrance and things like that in the letterbox movie with the lighting and smoke. It's so cool. It's new, it's not being done, it hasn't been done for a while and she's doing excellent with it," Dustin said on Sports Guys Talking Wrestling.
Dustin noted that he hopes Toni Storm vs. Hikaru Shida steals the show at AEW Full Gear and that he is looking forward to the match.
