Following the May 2 episode of NXT, an NXT Tag Team Title match and a couple of Grudge matches are set for the May 9 episode.
Trick Williams will face Braun Breakker as he seeks revenge for Breakker sending Carmelo Hayes to the hospital at NXT Spring Breakin.'
Later in the night on May 2, Williams would run into Apollo Crews, who will be returning to Monday Night Raw After the WWE Draft. Crews told Williams that he has all the makings of a star in the future and wished him well in his match next week.

Also set for May 9, Ilja Dragunov and Dijak will finally go one-on-one after weeks of physical confrontations, including Dijak crushing the ribs of Ilja with a garage door.
Lastly, The Dyad's Rip Fowler and Jagger Reid will get their opportunity to challenge for the NXT Tag Team Championship in a standard tag team match after Joe Gacy defeated Joe Coffey on May 2.
Fowler and Reid have ultimately expressed their desire to leave WWE when their contracts expire in October 2023 but were denied the request for release. Learn more about that here.
