EC3 On A Potential WWE Return: I Believe In William Patrick Corgan And What We Are Building In NWA

EC3 believes in Billy Corgan and what they are building with the National Wrestling Alliance.

EC3 has had two runs with WWE that were less than stellar and a strong run in TNA Wrestling where he found the character he continues to build upon today. Today, he is the NWA Worlds Heavyweight Champion and considers himself a locker room leader for the Billy Corgan-led promotion.

Speaking with Chris Van Vliet on the Insight podcast, EC3 addresses a potential return to WWE by instead saying that he is so confident in what the NWA is building that he feels he is more valuable right now being a catalyst to build something sustainable for the future as opposed to being a cog in the machine.

“I’m so thoroughly content with building what we’re building right now. I’m very on board. I feel very much that I could be a gear in the strongest machine possible, or I can sink or swim being a catalyst to build something for the future. How much are they paying? [laughs] No, I believe in what we’re doing, I believe in WPC. They put me in a great position, not just champion, but sort of like, I don’t know, I guess I’m a locker room leader and things like that, and being able to help cultivate the future intrigues me greatly, especially because I’m still in my prime, and I could beat everybody.”

The NWA continues to build and grow as a promotion. Recently, it was announced that new episodes of their weekly NWA Powerrr series would be heading to the CW App beginning in February 2024. Fans can learn more about that arrangement here.
