Eddie Edwards Provides Update Following Appendicitis

Eddie Edwards is back home following appendicitis.

Edwards took to social media on Monday to confirm he recently underwent appendicitis. PWInsider reported on May 20 that Edwards underwent surgery on May 17.

Edwards wrote on social media, "Finally back home after an extended stay in Nashville. Yah im an appendix short but Im good! Thank you to all who reached out. It always amazes me how supportive this industry can be. Ive said it before and Ill say it again the @IMPACTWRESTLING locker room is a family. THANK YOU."

It is unknown how long Edwards will be out of action.

Edwards recently teamed with FinJuice (David Finlay & Juice Robinson) at IMPACT Under Siege against IMPACT World Champion Kenny Omega and The Good Brothers (Karl Anderson & Doc Gallows). Edwards scored the victory for his team, pinning Anderson in the six-man tag team contest. The bout was taped in April.
