Eddie Kingston and Gabe Kidd will go to war at NJPW Windy City Riot.
NJPW SYRONG Openweight Eddie Kingston has been locked in a heated feud with Gabe Kidd recently, and the rivalry will continue at NJPW Windy City Riot. NJPW announced that Kingston and Kidd will captain teams in a Riot Rules match at NJPW Windy City Riot on April 12. Both men will pick three partners for the bout.
From NJPW:
Joining Jon Moxley vs Tetsuya Naito, and Mustafa Ali versus Hiromu Takahashi in the Wintrust Arena April 12 at Windy City Riot, a new matchup has been added to the mix, as Gabe Kidd and Eddie Kingston will captain sides in a Riot Rules Tag Team Match.
At Battle in the Valley January 13, Kidd challenged Kingston for the AEW Continental Crown, but a highly physical match ended in a double countout, before members of the War Dogs attacked the champion after the bell. Now, in this matchup, there are no DQs or countouts, and victory is by pinfall, submission or KO only. The eight man tag will be contested under a tornado format with no tags in or out, and the teams on both sides will be a mystery, only revealed when partners make their entrance.
Kingston warned Kidd that he made dangerous enemies, and that he has dangerous friends. Will those allegiances see Kidd in trouble? Or is the War Ready Kidd going to be even more dangerous when backed into a corner? Be there live when Windy City Riot comes to the Wintrust Arena in Chicago April 12!
Kingston previously faced Kidd at NJPW Battle in the Valley on January 13. The match ended in a double countout. Kidd and the rest of Bullet Club War Dogs proceeded to attack Kingston after the bout.
Fightful will have live coverage of NjPW Windy City Riot as it airs on April 12.
