Eddy Thorpe is back in a big way.
On the June 11 episode of WWE NXT, Eddy Thorpe made his return, and he scored the win in a hard-fought win against Tavion Heights. He put Heights away with an Impaler DDT to clinch the victory.
The bout marked Heights' first time competing on NXT TV since he defeated Dijak in an NXT Underground match on the December 26 episode of WWE NXT.

Fightful Select previously reported that Thorpe suffered an injury in his match against Dijak. He was sidelined until March, and he competed at NXT live events and NXT Level Up tapings. Thorpe's return has been teased in vignettes in recent weeks.
Despite the loss, Heights made a good impression on Charlie Dempsey; in a backstage segment, the former NXT Heritage Cup Champion expressed his interest in recruiting Thorpe to No Quarter Catch Club.
