El Hijo Del Fantasma has shown his true colors, including his real name.
In recent months, masked men started a string of kidnapping attempts, with Raul Mendoza and Joaquin Wilde being taken away. El Hijo Del Fantasma seemed like he was a target as well, but it was revealed on NXT that he was the group’s leader. In fact, El Hijo Del Fantasma took off his mask and revealed a new name for himself: Santos Escobar.
The segment saw Escobar talking about his NXT Cruiserweight Championship win over Drake Maverick in the finals of an eight-man tournament last week. After Escobar appeared to have agreed to a rematch against Maverick, two masked men, later revealed as Mendoza and Wilde, started to surround the two wrestlers. That’s when Escobar turned on Maverick and the three wrestlers started attacking him.
