El Phantasmo's British J Cup road was a rocky one as he started off the tournament by having to defeat the first-ever British J Cup winner Jushin "Thunder" Liger. Phantasmo then had to get past Bandido and in the finals he went to war with Rich Swann, KUSHIDA and Rocky Romero and when the dust was settled, the Vancouver, British Columbia native El Phantasmo pulled out the victory and now his resume' will read: two-time ECCW Champion, one-time ECCW Tag Team Champion, 2009 Pacific Cup Tournament winner and 2018 British J Cup winner.

On a related note, the current PROGRESS Tag Team Champions Bandido and Flamita will be defending their straps at 'Hello Wembley' on September 30th in a 'ThunderBastards' match. To read more on that, click here.
