It's time to walk with Elias again.
During the October 10 episode of WWE Raw, the company advertised that Elias will return to the show on the October 17 episode. This will be his first appearance on the show in over a year.

Elias hasn't wrestled since the July 19 episode of WWE Raw, where he lost a Symphony of Destruction Match to Jaxson Ryker. In August 2021, WWE aired vignettes of the former WWE 24/7 Champion burning his guitar and claiming that Elias was dead.
On April 4, 2022, Elias' brother Ezekiel debuted on WWE Raw and became a featured character on the show. He feuded with Kevin Owens for several weeks because the latter was determined to prove that Ezekiel and Elias were the same person. Ezekiel even took a lie detector test to prove that he was his own person. He reunited with Elias on the June 20 episode of Raw, and Elias appeared by himself later in the show.
Owens later brutally defeated Ezekiel in a singles match on the August 8 episode of WWE Raw, and Elias' brother was taken away on a stretcher. The following week, Ezekiel's father showed a picture of the whole family comforting Ezekiel while he was in the hospital.
