She revealed the news in an interview with Ella Jay of WrestleZone saying that there are no hard feelings between herself and the organization and she's looking forward to exploring free agency.

“Starting on January 1st, I, Ella Envy, am now a free agent,” Envy told WrestleZone’s Ella Jay. “It was not an easy decision to leave the NWA. I had been with them since I was 21 years old. I am now 24 years old. They were the first people I feel like to really take a chance on me and to believe in me. Without the NWA, there would be no Ella Envy and no 'It Girl.' But with that being said, I am getting older and I just feel like I need to spread my wings. I feel like I need to exercise every opportunity that life throws at me, wrestling-related and non-wrestling-related.”

Discussing her goals for the rest of this year, Ella Envy says she wants to travel more and hopefully compete outside of the United States. As far as Stateside, she's hopeful to compete in the West Coast.

During her time with the NWA, she captured the NWA Women's World Tag Team Championship on four separate occasions with three different partners, Roxy, Kenzie Paige, Kylie Paige, and Miss Star for a total combined 515 days.

Fightful will report any updates on Ella Envy's future as they are made.
