Ella Envy signs with the NWA.
The National Wrestling Alliance announced that three-time NWA Women's World Tag Team Champion Ella Envy has signed an exclusive contract with the promotion.
The ‘IT Girl’ Is Staying With the National Wrestling Alliance! Ella Envy Has Signed an Exclusive NWA Contract — and Predicts She’ll Make History at NWA 76.
A groundbreaking grappler, Ella Envy joined the National Wrestling Alliance in 2021. She is the first woman in modern history to become a three-time NWA Women’s World Tag Team Champion, each reign with a different partner!
“There’s no more prolific tag team competitor in the National Wrestling Alliance today than Ella Envy,” says Joe Galli, NWA’s Chief Operating Officer.
“Aside from Hall of Famer Ricky Morton, Ella is the only three-time World tag team champion on the NWA roster — male or female,” he continues, “That she held those titles with three different members of Pretty Empowered speaks incredibly well of her versatility and ability to captain nearly any team to championship success!”
During her NWA career, Envy captured the NWA Women’s World Tag Team Titles with both Kenzie and Kylie Paige. Though it was short-lived, she also won gold with former Pretty Empowered member Roxy.
Envy recently failed to wrest the NWA Women’s World title from former partner and one-time Pretty Empowered BFF Kenzie Paige. In the wake of the loss, Envy turned her attention back to the championships with which she has become virtually synonymous. At NWA 76, Envy teams with Ms. Starr to again challenge for the tag straps.

Collectively known as The IT Girls, Envy and Starr face reigning champs The King Bees at the NWA’s biggest live event of the year. August 31 at Philadelphia’s 2300 Arena is more than just a huge opportunity for the newly-formed team to win gold.
History is on the line. Currently ranks beside icons The Fabulous Moolah and Wendy Richter, all three-time holders of the belts.
“Not only am I staying in the National Wrestling Alliance, at NWA 76 Ms. Starr and I regain my NWA women’s tag team titles,” Envy declares. “The IT Girls are going to make history — and I will be a four time tag team champion!”
Victory would tie the young star with Donna Christianello as four-time champs. They trail legends Penny Banner (5), Joyce Grable and Toni Rose (6 reigns each) and June Byer, who with seven reigns is the most decorated female tag team competitor in NWA history.
Her new contract ensures Envy remains on NWA Powerrrr and Signature Live Events for quite some time. The likelihood this talented and charismatic superstar makes good on her promise to recapture the belts and etch her name in the annals of NWA seems almost certain.
Envy’s next step comes Aug. 31 in Philadelphia, at the annual celebration of the National Wrestling Alliance’s 1948 founding. NWA 76 commemorates nearly eight decades of “History, Legacy & Tradition” with a night of hard-hitting pro wrestling action at Philly’s legendary 2300 Arena.
