Ember Moon Replaces Alexa Bliss In Mixed Match Challenge Due To Injury; Bliss Could Rejoin Team When Cleared

Team Little Big is no more.

WWE announced on Instagram that Alexa Bliss is out of Mixed Match Challenge and will be replaced by Ember Moon.

Moon will now team with Braun Strowman for the event. Strowman and Bliss made it to the semi-finals in season one and were the betting favorites to take the crown in season two. They were scheduled to face Kevin Owens and Natalya on tonight's season two premiere.

On Twitter, WWE noted that an arm injury will keep Bliss out of the tournament and off Live Events this week. Bliss woke up and experienced numbness in her left arm. This is likely playing off her Hell in a Cell bout against Ronda Rousey. PWInsider notes that if Bliss gets cleared in time for the second bout, she will re-join Strowman.

Mixed Match Challenge takes place every Tuesday following SmackDown and airs live on Facebook. A pre-show begins 10 minutes prior to the show. Fightful will provide complete coverage of Mixed Match Challenge.
