Enzo Amore is being replaced from the Mixed Match Challenge scheduled to take place later this month.
Kurt Angle posted the following on Twitter this afternoon. WWE retweeted the message soon after on their account:
Amore was written off Raw last night when he was sent to the hospital after being sick before the tapings, with it being confirmed later in the evening during Raw that he is suffering from the flu. He scheduled to take on Cedric Alexander for the Cruiserweight championship, but it was postponed to a later date.
PWInsider reported earlier today that Amore wanted to come back to the show and do the match, checking himself out of the hospital, but officials refused and told him to return back to his hotel room.
It isn't known if he will appear on 205 Live tonight. The Mixed Match Challenge starts on January 16 on Facebook Live.
