Eric Bischoff: John Cena Is Putting Guys Over And Making Them Look Like A Million Bucks

Solo Sikoa picked up an emphatic victory over John Cena at WWE Crown Jewel, laying him out with a dozen Somoan Spikes.

During his two-month return to WWE, Cena teamed with LA Knight to help elevate him and went out on his shield against Sikoa. Eric Bischoff was a fan of Cena's work.

"I’ve always been a fan of John Cena’s, always, the person [and] the professional. Certainly the performer, John Cena. But what a guy. I mean, he is not only putting people over, but he’s making them look like a million bucks in the process. Some of the stuff that John was doing…how old is John? Gotta be mid-40s, right? For a guy that’s been out of the business as long as he has, and to be able to go to the closet, grab the boots, throw your stuff in the bag, let’s go wrestle…the level that he’s performing at, and bringing out the best of the people that he’s working with, I just have so much admiration for John. It was a fantastic match. I loved watching it, really enjoyed it. I can’t say enough great things about John Cena. He is an example of how to end your career. He’s doing such a great job," Bischoff said on 83 Weeks.

Cena appeared weekly on WWE SmackDown starting in September, all the way up to WWE Crown Jewel.

After losing to Sikoa, Cena waved to the audience, who gave him a standing ovation. It is unknown if or when Cena will return to WWE television.

Elsewhere during the podcast, Bischoff commented on the cocaine spot at NWA Samhain. You can find his full comments by clicking here.
