Eric Bischoff Says The Revolution Is Happening In NXT

Eric Bischoff appeared on the December 3rd episode of NXT, standing in the middle of the ring with Ridge Holland and NXT Champion Trick Williams.

Bischoff said that he's always been on the cutting edge of wrestling, noting that he created WCW Nitro to go head-to-head with WWE Raw and created the NWO, both of which revolutionized the industry. Bischoff said the revolution is happening in NXT and everyone in the building gets to experience it.

Bischoff introduced Ridge and Trick. He said Ridge was a throwback to his childhood, naming Ridge alongside Dick The Bruiser. He said Ridge takes no prisoners. He praised Trick as being the evolution of the business.

Ridge disagreed with Bischoff, saying that Trick is an insult to the business. Trick got on the mic and called Ridge "boring, bland, and vanilla."

Ridge called Trick "soft" and that he would put him down at NXT Deadline to win the NXT Championship. Trick took exception to the "soft" comment and attacked Ridge. The attack backfired as they brawled to the outside where Ridge planted Trick with a lifting DDT onto the announce table.

Trick will defend his NXT Title against Ridge at NXT Deadline.
